Following the success of Nanalan’ and Mr. Meaty, Jamie Shannon co-creative produced, directed, and puppeteered the beloved preschool series Big & Small at a time when the teams performance and fabrication work was at its peak. Broadcast on BBC’s CBeebies and Treehouse TV, the beautifully crafted puppet series ran for 78 episodes across three seasons and reached audiences on more than 40 channels worldwide. The show featured legendary comedian Lenny Henry as the voice of Big and Small, while Jamie performed fan-favourite characters Ruby and Twiba. Known for its warmth, music, and inventive puppetry, the series earned multiple honours including a Kidscreen Award for Best Writing and a BAFTA Children’s Award for its interactive content.
